Farewell to the girl with the sun in her eyes

                                                        A shy...

...a very, very shy girl, who...

                                                  ... sometimes smokes...

                                                 ...eats a lot of biscuits...

                                             ...waits and waits...

                                          ...for her true love...

...and is visited by fairies, when it's dark...

This is the kind of girl that I am, actually, apart from the fact that fairies do not visit me that often! A small and a bit silly photo shoot  I did with my sister (again) yesterday evening, inspired mainly by those wonderful lace gloves I found in carnival-costume store....

...and some music recommendations , two albums that are my current life soundtrack.

1. Lisa Hannigan- ''Sea Sew''. She's a young irish folk-singer, who did vocals in both Damien Rice's albums. If you like his stuff, then it's sure that you're going to love this!

2. Tom Waits-''Closing Time''. He's probably my favorite musician of all times and so I don't believe that there's something that he has done and I don't like. This album is one of his first ones and definitely his most romantic one. For a person like me, who's feeling so very uninspired the last couple of weeks, this is perfect!

Thats all for today. I'm sorry for this short post but I'm terribly busy with school and other bothersome things as such.
Hope you all have a great sunday!
          xx

12 raindrops:

  9. Ooh, thank you for the recommendations! Your photo-shoot really would fit perfectly into Lula magazine or the like, which is the highest compliment any artwork can be paid in my opinion! ^^ Biscuits and lace! I love love love it! xx P.S. Yes, by some benign and fortuitous oversight I am over halfway through my first year studying in Cambridge! I am so glad you think it's beautiful too - the past two seasons have been absolutely gorgeous here in a very Shakespeare-in-Love way, so I'm looking forward to the next ones too!

  10. Lovely, lovely photos. Costume stores are the best for finding lovely things.
Hey, isn't it funny how shy people eat lots of biscuits? I mean, i am shy and biscuits are a staple part of my diet (especially chocolate ones)
