A little, creepy, dreamy, random post

So equally over a valley, a hill
wood on quarry stood, each of us crying
a velvet curtain of grey
mark the blanket where the sparrows play
and the trees by the waving corn stranded
my legs move the last empty inches to you
the softness, the warmth from the weather in suspense
mote to a grog- the star a white chalk
minds shot together, our minds shot together...

Some adorable and a bit nonsensical lyrics by one of rock star lovers, Syd Barrett...

It's officially only 7 days left for my 17th birthday (It's a bit funny because I'm turning 17 on the 17th of March...) and  I still don't know how am I going to celebrate it. I'm not a very outgoing person and so parties is not my forte. What I have in mind:
-An evening hang-out in a park, laying on the grass,
drinking champagne
and eating a chocolate birthday cake
OR
- A tea party at home with a lot of sweets, poetry and soft music
Probably, neither of  them would happen but planning is always fun!

''We gather up our hearts and go, a thousand kisses deep''

How amazing is this photograph! Taken by the gorgeous photographer and idol of mine, Diane Arbus. For some reason, I admire a lot of people who killed themselves. I guess the world is just too small for geniuses...

''Splishy Splashy''
The always cool Chloe. I wish my mood was playful  like hers
but unfortunately
today it's more like this:
I mean bored. School leaves me so so uninspired. Seriously today was awful, I had two class tests and they both went completely wrong. I'm lost too deep in my own world I guess that I can't concentrate at school stuff.
Anyways, better moving onto more interesting things:

I'm a lot into road movies lately. Maybe because, I can't stand this place and this way of living. So they're some form of escape to me. Oh how I wish I were in a car right now, riding all along Europe.
But highway is for gamblers and unfortunately I use my sense

If you have any road movie suggestions, they're certainly welcomed!

I also need someone
...to write a song for me...

...and wash my elephant...

...because it's too hard!

Reading ''On the road'' by Jack Kerouac is a part of my future plans too.

My dream outfit
(made by me on polyvore)

And now something really weird that I dreamt of. Yesterday I saw Tom Cruise in my sleep being attacked by an evil kitten, haha! It may sounds quite funny now but it scared me a lot!

''A candy-colored clown they call the sandman
tiptoes to my room every night
just to sprinkle stardust and to whisper
go to sleep, everything is alright''

Some recently found pictures that could easily belong to an unsettling but at the same time very beautiful dream.

''A girl and the trees''

A very short photo shoot I did in only 10 minutes with a schoolmate, who looks so much like a hippy! You can call it the bright touch on this very dark post. I love the first picture the most.

This was definitely the most pointless and random post ever on this blog and it took me sooo long. Hope it's fun!
But I must leave you now loves. I must start packing my suitcases and return to my boring little real world.

''And it's so bad that all this things can only happen in my dreams''

19 raindrops:

  1. wowww flower are blooming already for you? I am envious!

  2. Oh happy early birthday! Both of those birthday plans sound wonderful! I had a mad tea party for mine (alice in wonderland) but champagne in the park and chocolate cake also sounds really perfect! You must read on the road as soon as possible, it is my favorite. A wonderful movie is the wackness, and another one, but that is slightly scandalous is the dreamers. lovely post

  4. I do hope you do something enchanting on your birthday. I like the tea party idea. Me and my friend went to a tea place on one of my birthdays. It was beautiful.
I enjoyed your lovely and long post. Even the creepy picture with the people with bags on their heads.

  7. Not a dark post at all! Well, only a bit, in the right places, though! Your birthday plans sound fabulous - for my 17th (in May) I plotted a gigantic Midsummer Night's Dream-themed picnic in the park, with pinatas, and invited everyone in my year. On the day it stormed and nobody came. I ended up in my garden with my dearest friends (one of whom had made an amazing paper mache Bottom donkey head!) eating sweeties... ^^ The moral of this story (because it does have a point!) is perhaps plan something weather-proof? And if you had a tea party, you could have a Mad Hatters theme! Love The Girl in the Trees, love the Polyvore outfit and as for road movies, Two for the Road is one of my favourites with fabulous Audrey Hepburn and yummy Albert Finney, it's just a gorgeous love story set on the road over time: http://en.cinemawiki.tv/movie/movie_Two%20for%20the%20Road.html ! xx

And if you haven't seen Terrance Mallick's Badlands (with Martin Sheen) you should see it as soon as possible! It's sort of a road-movie.

  14. Happy early birthday, fellow Pisces :)
I actually did have champagne and chocolate cake for my birthday, what a coincidence that you were thinking of the same thing.
The Polyvore set is just breath-taking, really lovely. Spring break is coming soon, perhaps I will have some time to play around on Polyvore...
I highly recommend "On the Road", it is a bit life-altering.
