The loneliest people were the ones who always spoke the truth

Easter is probably my least favorite holiday but I'm really glad that school's out for two whole weeks.
Two days ago, I painted the easter eggs:

According to the tradition, eggs should be dyed red so as to symbolize Jesus blood. We did so every year but this easter I decided that our eggs are not going to look common and boring like everyone else's...

The lovely Jules from Candy Hearts tagged me quite a long time ago. I'm finally able to complete the tag.
1. Answer the questions on your blog, replace a question you don't like with one of your own invention and finally add a question of your own.
2. Tag 8 other un-tagged people.

What is your current obsession? Drawing in color pencils, Leonard Cohen, the beat generation, chocolate (hmm, that's eternal obsession I believe...), the song ''Anthems for a seventeen year-old girl'' by Broken Social Scene, Magnum photographers
If you could have one super power what would it be? Travel back in time, definitely!
What do you see outside your window? The street, cars, a few trees and other peoples' apartments
What's your favorite color? Grey, dark blue and soft pinks
Your weakness? I'm very shy...
Which animal would you be? A snowshoe rabbit, maybe?
What's for dinner? Soup
What's your favorite weather? Rainy weather
What's on your bedside table? Umm, I don't have a bedside table...
Say something to the person who tagged you: I always feel happier after visiting your blog!
If you could have a house totally paid for, fully furnished anywhere, where would it be? Somewhere in France for sure. Either Paris or Provence.
What's your favorite children's book? Alice in Wonderland
What's your favorite thing to do in the summer? Lay on the grass and drink iced tea
What would you like to have in your hands right now? A polaroid camera
What's your favorite tea flavor? Vanilla
What's your favorite article of clothing? My vintage black lace tights
What would you like to get rid of? Having to wake up early everyday and go to school, my shyness
If you could go anywhere in the world for an hour, where would you go? I would go anywhere. After all, one hour is a very short amount of time...
What did you want to be as a child? a film director (Well, I still want that!)
Do you prefer day or night? Night
What's your plan for tomorrow? I'm invited to a barbeque.
What's your favorite word? Felicity
What jewelry do you wear? I don't really wear any jewelry at the moment
What's your favorite smell? The smell of the air after rain, filter coffee, coconut

I tag:

Watching movies is good way to spent your free time. I recently watched ''The General'' by Buster Keaton and I believe this is the beginning of my silent movies-obsession. Isn't it amazing how one could direct, star and produce a movie at the same time and especially at times where technology was a little help. They didn't need lines, they had faces as the goddess Gloria Swanson said in ''Sunset Boulevard'' . And because a picture equals a thousand of words, here you go:

I love this last picture. He looks a bit creepy but he's so adorable.

I went out on shopping spree yesterday with my mom and my sister. I didn't shop anything compared to my sister who literally bought everything she saw in front of her but it was fun.
We also went to this very cute and elegant cafe. It was so ''french'' !

I had coffee

... and a small, yummy chocolate cake

This is me, wearing my new bow-headband. My nose looks unusually
nice on this picture....

That was all for today I believe. I'm very sorry for updating so late (two weeks!)
I hope you're all well.
Ciao!
xx

14 raindrops:

  1. thank you for tagging me, I love tags and it's been so long since I did one!
You're hair is so pretty, it reminds me of the messy romantique hairdo's of silent movie stars and the bow is just utterly adorable!

  2. Thanks for the tag dear! I'm sorry though, I won't do it. But it's only because it's a text based tag, and my blog consists almost exclusively of photos. But it's a great idea for a tag.
Love that headband! I've been making some bow headbands myself, maybe I'll show them on my blog some time!

  10. Well I finally filled out the tag that you sent me and I am so sorry it took me so long to thank you! I have been the worst possible blogger lately, I hope you'll forgive me.
What a sweet little cafe you went to! I am always searching for new cafes to go to, cafe life is a whole sub-culture in itself, I just love the whole atmosphere of it all.
Oh I hope you are well dear <3

  11. Chocolate cake, Buster Keaton and Kings of Convenience lyrics - oh, I loved this post! ^^ Glad you liked the J M Barrie quote, too - I love how it doesn't try to deny that sometimes love is painful, but that it can still be worthwhile in some small way. And thank you with plentiful sparkles and crumbs for the birthday wishes!! xxx
